[ Editor's Note: Chryste Gaines, MBA, Olympic gold and bronze medal sprinter and former teammate of Marion Jones in the 2000 Sydney Olympic Games, stated the following in a Dec. 22, 2008 email to in response to the IOC ruling:
"We are being unfairly punished. If the drug testing agencies cannot determine if an athlete is taking performance enhancing drugs how are the teammates supposed to know?... It negates all the family functions, church functions, and social events we missed in the name of winning an Olympic medal." ]
At the Sanos Clinic in Moscow, the Russian Federation, they explain that "As the main reason of development of severe prostatitis are small microabscesses (closed foci of pyoinflammation 1-2 mm in size), they should be removed. The original method of SANOS consists in solving this surgical problem without operation." They state that "finger massage" can accomplish drainage, but frequently abcesses are plugged, so "Negative effects of finger massage can be corrected with our technique of prostatic drain using an original rectal pneumovibromassager."
Help I have a friend who is a gym goer Im not sure of his quantity or how long he has been taking steroids, but stopped recently because he had really bad neck pain. No dr or scan, ultrasound etc showed anything. Put on huge pain killer amounts didnt help alot but felt after about six weeks some relief. Until today when he thinks a prior knee issue has flared up. If this a result of steroid abuse how long before it heals? Im pretty sure he wont touch them again. He can handle all over aches and pains but these last two injuries have had him off work.
